Sell gold for what currency?

With gold reaching ever increasing highs, we should think carefully about selling. In a global recession what currency should we sell gold for? Certainly not U.S. dollars. Of the following which makes more sense?
1.euro
2.jersey pounds
3.kuwait dinars

With that strategy in mind, you might want to look at Zimbabwe dollars. Although officially suspended XE.com still lists it with implied value. According to XE it has increased 1,000% in 1 year. You have to wonder if Mugabe plans to reinstate it at tremendous personal profit?

I would not sell gold for any currency right now. Well I take that back. I might invest in Mexican Pesos for a long shot 10 bagger in the event of U.S. intervention there. That country is getting so unstable I feel like the U.S. is going to have to intervene at some point. There may be some short term losses but there’s no way the U.S is going to allow Mexico to spiral into a revolution so the currency is safe and can only go up.
