Good A level Subjects combination?
Hello there,
Do you think this is a good combination for my a level?
1) Economics
2) Psychology
2) Math
4) English
Reasons for taking these subjects:
1) Economics for understanding the market eg. stock, Forex,
2) Psychology for getting know people more in depth
3) Maths for enhancing my skill perhaps. I just like maths for no reason LOL. I’m really good in math.
4) English. It is my second language and it is important to take the subject.
All of these subjects are what I’m interested. In fact, I’ve experienced in business ( online marketing and fx trading ) since I was in high school. I also like to read self-help books and that’s why I get into psychology stuffs to know more. I believe psychology related with business in term of sales pitch.
To be honest, taking a variety of subjects can be good for university applications since it shows you’re a well-rounded person and they like that. Also if you’re a little undecided about your future career, it’s good to broaden your options. And psychology and economics are pretty different subjects. So I would say yes, the combination is good.
And absolutely, marketing is all about psychology. You have a valid reason for taking all the subjects and each of them back each other up, so the subjects you have chosen are definitely reasonable choices.
