Functions Of Foreign Exchange Market

Can someone please help me come up with an opening paragraph.?

You have been asked by a local college to write a lecture that explains the gold standard and addresses the functions of the world’s major Foreign Exchange markets.

lol…I used to have the same problem w/ writing intros, but I’ve gotten a lot better now and i undertand your predicament, so i’ll help you.

I don’t want to write the whole intro for you, since that would be plagiarism on your part if you used it, but I’ll give you some helpful idead, bits, and pieces.

First sentence: Throughout the course of history, gold has been a symbol of value and affluence.

*go on to discuss how gold was used in history as a currency, because of its enormous value
*then give a sentence about the negative aspects of gold as currency: my memorys fading but i remember that in France there was a bankruptcy once because the spent too much money on war, and since their currency was gold, they couldn’t just “print” more money. I’m so sorry, i don’t remember exactly what war it was, but if you cant find it online then i suggest just making the statement general instead of applying it to France.
*end with your thesis: idk what your view is, so its up to you to write your thesis it an put it here.
